Membership in this Association is be open to all former students of Ibadan Grammar School living in any part of North America.
There are 3 different types of membership as defined below:
Active Member
Honorary Members
Honorary Membership may be conferred upon persons honored by the Association because of outstanding services, financial or estate contribution. Persons for honorary membership are invited by two-third votes of the executive Committee. The persons shall be recognized at the annual General Meeting or General Convention. They shall be exempted from all dues or fines.
Associate Members
Former teachers, principals, and staff members of Ibadan Grammar School, who are not former students, who reside in North America shall be Associate Members. The persons shall be recognized at the annual General Meeting or General Convention. They shall be exempted from all dues or fines.
Privileges of Membership
a) Active members shall have privileges of voting, holding office, serving on committees, and serving as chairpersons of committees.
b) Honorary and Associate members shall have all the privileges of membership except those of holding office and voting for officers.
Membership Disciplinary Actions
A member may be censured, suspended or expelled by the Board of directors, if such member has been given verbal or written notice of an infraction, and be given time to respond.
