Dr. Adeyinka Okuwoga attended Ibadan Grammar School, 1970-74. Sch. No; 6139. He was in Olubadan House. He later proceeded to obtain the following higher education: B.Sc (Hons) Quantity Surveying, from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), M.Sc Architecture, and Ph.D Construction Economics & Management, from the University College London (UCL), and MBA–International Management, from the Royal Holloway College, University of London. He is a chartered quantity surveyor and a member, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) UK.
He started his professional career with Army Projects Dept, Ministry of Defence Headquarter, Lagos 1983-87, Consultant–Burrell Hayward & Budd, Chartered Surveyors and Project Managers, London 1988-91. Senior Lecturer, University of Brighton, UK 1992-93. He later served as Chief Engineering Officer, United Nations Missions to Croatia, Georgia and Kuwait 1996-99 and Section Head, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Vienna, Austria 1999-2010, Chief of General Services, United Nations International Criminal Tribunal on Rwanda (UNICTR) 2011-12. And currently, Division Manager, The World Bank HQ, Washington DC, USA.
In his professional capacity, he served as member, Federal Government of Nigeria Ministerial Panel on Defence Contracts 1984-5. Member, UK Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Measurement and Estimating Skills Panel 1992-3. Member, Toastmaster International at the World Bank HQ.
He was active member of the IGSOSA Lagos Branch, where he served as Assistant Secretary in 1986-87, later London Branch and currently member of the North America Branch IGSOSANA.
He is married to Mojisola Okuwoga and blessed with four lovely children.
