Giving to Empower Mountaineers Scheme (GEMS)
Our society thrives when every individual, regardless of their background, is given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Recognizing the importance of nurturing the talents and ambitions of high school students, we are excited to introduce our IGS Student Sponsorship Program. This IGSOSANA Welfare initiative aims to provide financial assistance, mentorship, and resources to indigent but brilliant and deserving current students of the school, empowering them to overcome obstacles to their education and pursue their dreams.
Adopt a Student
The objectives of our Adopt a Student program are:
- Provide financial assistance for academic-related expenses such as tuition and school supplies.
- Alleviate the financial burden on students and their families, ensuring that economic challenges do not hinder their education.
Book Drive
Together, let’s bridge the educational gap for 100 brilliant but indigent IGS students with the gift of 2 of the most important books they desperately need but cannot afford to buy.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE
Our IGNITE program also celebrates and honors the achievements of our students through our Prize-Giving program. Excellence is not just about academic performance but also about resilience, leadership, and dedication to personal growth. Whether it’s academic achievements, leadership roles, community service, or artistic endeavors, IGNITE recognizes and rewards students who exemplify excellence in all aspects of their lives. Our STEAM Prize-Giving ceremony and the School Prize-Giving Day are an opportunity to showcase student accomplishments and inspire others to reach their full potential.
